Is the Flask leakproof?
Yes. We can safely say the Flasks are leakproof! There is a silicone sealing inside and only one way to screw shut the bottle, with no other entry or exit points for your drinks. Do remember to wash the seal cleanly and replace them properly after removing them for washing!

What are the materials used to construct the flask?
Lids - Treated bamboo and a food grade hardened silicon inner
Body - Grade A borosilicate glass

Materials are BPS-free, non-toxic and recyclable.

How is the quality different/better than the replicas/fakes out there in the market?
The quality of a Made by Fressko is visible but you have to know what you are looking for!

Fressko’s have an extra thick base and neck for increased durability. Chemicals are NOT USED in the making of the flasks so strengthening comes from the thickness and quality of the borosilicate glass.

When you look through the base of your Fressko you will see the clarity – clarity means quality. Unfortunately some replicas may look like they have a thick base but they have in fact used a method called ‘crystal base’ which means they have used a clear glue to adhere two pieces of glass together to create the thickness.

This is not quality. Made by Fressko also uses bamboo on the lids – not laminate that looks like bamboo.

When you purchase a Flask with the made by Fressko logo you can rest assured that you have made a worthwhile purchase.

Can I wash my Fressko Flask in the dishwasher?
We recommend washing your Fressko Flask by hand.

However, as it is borosilicate glass, the flask receptacle itself is dishwasher safe. You'll still need to wash the bamboo lid and Tea Infuser by hand and and dry them.

Additionally, you can take the extra step in extending the longevity of your bamboo lid by dabbing it dry after you wash it, before you leave it to air-dry. As such, recommend simply washing the entire flask by hand - and with love!
